She was buried in Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. FROM ABT 1857 TO 1858 Agnes Elizabeth Winona Leclerq Joy was a reputed to have preformed as "Mle. Agnes" with the Spalding & Rogers Circus.10,11,12 Author of "Ten Years of My Life" (1875) which details her exploits with her husband. Her appeal to Juarez is the subject of an historical painting by Manuel Ocaranza (1873). She had person sources.3,13,14 As of 1852, Agnes Elizabeth Winona Leclerq Joy was also known as Eliza A. Joy.15 About 1865, Agnes Elizabeth Winona Leclerq Joy and Prince Felix Constantin Alexander Johann Nepomuk Marie zu Salm-Salm immigrated to Mexico to serve Emperor Maximilian. She attempted to save the life of Maximilian in 1867. She was visited by relatives on 18 April 1898 in Landis, Cumberland, New Jersey+.
