Mary MacHauer was born on 27 August 1866 in New Orleans, Orleans, Louisiana.1 Louis P. Mayer and she were married on 19 August 1885 in New Orleans, Orleans, Louisiana.2 She died on 2 December 1956 at age 90 in New Orleans, Orleans, Louisiana.3 She was buried on 4 December 1956 at St. Vincent De Paul Cemetery #2 in New Orleans, Orleans, Louisiana.3
Mary is presumed to be the daughter of Adam & Frances because of mention of the "Mayer" family in her father's & mother's obituaries.

Something here is absurd. She hand't even reached her 9th birthday when married? I don't know. I'm just recording events as I find them. Mary MacHauer appeared in the census in 1880 in New Orleans, Orleans, Louisiana. Louis P. Mayer and she appeared in the census on 7 June 1900 in New Orleans, Orleans, Louisiana.4 Louis P. Mayer and she appeared in the census in 1910 in New Orleans, Orleans, Louisiana.5 She appeared in the census in 1920 in Orleans Parish, Louisiana. She appeared in the household of GeorgineGeraldine Rita ("Gerry") Mayer in the census in 1930 in New Orleans, Orleans, Louisiana. Mary MacHauer appeared in the census in April 1940 in New Orleans, Orleans, Louisiana.6
