Eliza(beth) Wilson was born on 22 December 1806 in Fannettsburg, Franklin Co., Pennsylvania.1,2 James Harris ("Harry") Childerston and she were married in 1830 at the Presbyterian Church in Silver Run, Franklin, Penn.3 She died on 17 September 1854 at age 47 in Carlyle, Clinton, Illinois. She was buried at Carlyle Cemetery in Carlyle, Clinton, Illinois.4,5
There is no proof that our Eliza Wilson is Elizabeth Wilson dau. of Thomas and Esther (Campbell) Wilson. It is just a hypothesis. Eliza(beth) ("Eliza") Wilson had person sources.6 James Harris ("Harry") Childerston and she appeared in the census on 20 September 1850 in Clinton Co., Illinois.7

Biography

Richard Harris Childerston was born on 3 September 1836 in Springfield, Clark, Ohio.1 He and Adeline Kell were married on 10 February 1859 in Carlyle, Clinton, Illinois. He died on 8 February 1919 at age 82 at Illinois Soldiers and Sailors Home in Quincy, Adams, Illinois.2,3 He was buried at Carlyle Cemetery in Carlyle, Clinton, Illinois.4
For this family, I have adopted the spellings which I have found in the most original documents which I have found. (Which is presently R.H.C.'s military pension file.) Reference nr. WJC_T30. Richard Harris Childerston appeared in the census in 1860 in Clinton Co., Illinois. He served in the military from 14 February 1865 to 4 September 1865 in The Civil War.5 He and Adeline Kell appeared in the census on 30 June 1870 in Clinton Co., Illinois.6 He was named an executor for the will of James Harris ("Harry") Childerston on 24 November 1877 in Clinton Co., Illinois.7 Richard Harris Childerston and Adeline Kell appeared in the census in 1880 in Wade Township, Clinton, Illinois. He applied for a military pension on 7 February 1898. He and Adeline Kell appeared in the census on 6 June 1900 in Bond Co, Illinois. He and Adeline Kell appeared in the census in 1910 in Wheatfield Township, Clinton, Ill. As of 1919, Richard Harris Childerston was also known as Harry R. Childerson.
