There is considerable confusion about Conrad's family. The identities of his parents are not known for sure. This same situation exists for his wife, although he may have been married to a daughter of Liudolf, Duke of Swabia, the son of Emperor Otto I. He had at least six children, including his successor, Hermann II. Duke Conrad I of Swabia had person sources.1
