Thomas Sherwood was born on 24 December 1590 in Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire, England+.1 He and Alice Seabrook were married about 1610. He and Mary Fitch were married about 1644.2 He died in 1655 at age ~65.3 Thomas Sherwood was a carpenter. He had person sources.4 In April 1634, Thomas Sherwood and Alice Seabrook immigrated to Massachusetts on the ship "Frances."3

William Childerston was born on 3 January 1810 in Dorchester Co., Maryland.1 He died between December 1847 and 5 August 1848. No mention has been found of wife or children but the best theory is that he was the father of Charles Chillison (1843-1916) of Greenup Co. William Childerston was baptized (infant) between 15 March 1812 and 25 April 1812 in Great Choptonk Parish, Cambridge, Dorchester, Maryland.2 He was living in 1839 in Greenup Co, Kentucky. He appeared in the census in 1840 in Greenup Co, Kentucky. From 1843 to 1847 William Childerston was a teamster in Greenup Co, Kentucky. He purchased land in partnership with George W. and Allen Myers on 17 November 1843 in Greenup Co, Kentucky.3 He sold all interest in land to Allen Myers in December 1847 in Greenup Co, Kentucky.4 The estate of William Childerston was probated from 5 August 1848 to 3 September 1860 in Greenup Co, Kentucky.5

John Childerston was born about 1778. He and Mary Ratcliff obtained a marriage license on 2 September 1803 in Dorchester Co., Maryland.1,2 He and Mary Ratcliff were married on 6 October 1803 in Great Choptonk Parish, Cambridge, Dorchester, Maryland.3 There is nothing to show that John was Willaim's son. It is just convenient to hang him here. In fact, if he was indeed born in 1778, he would be the son of another mother. John Childerston, Jr., sold land with wife, Mary and Sarah Ratcliff on 2 April 1806 in Dorchester Co., Maryland. He sold 7 acres to Lemuel Beckwith on 18 April 1807 in Dorchester Co., Maryland.4 He purchased 50 acres of "Tripps Regulation" from John Hubbard on 13 June 1808.5 He purchased 2.5 acres from William on 4 February 1809. He purchased 100 acres of "Tripps Regulation" from John Hubbard on 24 September 1810.6 He sold "Chillison's (Killman's) Island" to Thomas Hubbard on 15 September 1812.7 He sold "personal property" to Levin W. Chillison on 30 May 1814.8 He sold 54 acres to Thomas Hubbard on 27 October 1814.9 He was deposed regarding the sale of a slave on 10 February 1816.10 He was deposed regarding a land survey between March 1817 and July 1817.11 He purchased 36 acres of "Littleworth" & "Contention" from Frances Ratcliff on 2 November 1819.12 He,with wife, Mary, transfered land he acquired from Frances Ratcliff to Nehemiah Beckwith on 13 November 1819.13 He was disposessed of "Trippes Regulation" (50 acres) on account of debt on 22 April 1820.14 He defaulted on payment for 4 acres of Partnership on 24 April 1820.15
